Position

A Private Advisor team within our Rockefeller Global Family Office business is seeking a motivated individual to join its growing team as a Client Associate. The Client Associate will work with our Private Advisor team members and will interact directly with high-net-worth clients. The ideal candidate will be the face of the practice and is thorough in their work, operates with a high attention to detail, has strong communication, organization, time management and problem-solving skills, and is driven to develop and grow in their role.

Responsibilities

Operational

  • Account opening and maintenance: preparing documents for client signature and ensure all documentation is returned, completed, and approved.
  • Completing investment subscription documents and ensuring funding is available/complete.
  • Respond to account activity and client inquires as need arises across multiple custodians. Inquiries include money movement, trading, tax document retrieval and other maintenance requests.
  • Assisting with client online access.


Investments

  • Prepare materials in advance of client meetings including investment reports & agenda.
  • Prepare and upload monthly account reports to a subset of client portals.
  • Attend and take notes on internal and external manager calls and relay notes to team.


Client Relationships

  • Coordinate client outreach for meetings.
  • Coordinate pre-meetings with the RCM Team and other attendees to ensure team is prepared for client meeting.
  • Attend and take notes during meetings and distribute action items as needed.
  • Send team communications including market commentary, client events, and holiday cards; maintain team marketing and client event communication lists.


Qualifications

  • 1-3 years prior client service experience within financial industry, or equivalent experience, preferred
  • Series 7 & 66 strongly preferred, and if not, willing to obtain
  • BA/BS degree


Skills

  • Strong client facing, interpersonal, organizational, and client service skills
  • Detail-oriented with ability to prioritize and organize workflow
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high intensity work environment as well as manage multiple tasks effectively with frequent interruptions
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel & PowerPoint
  • Experience with eMoney financial planning software a plus


Compensation Range

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $65,000 to $75,000. Base salary for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. In addition, this role may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
