Seeking an organized, detailed oriented, highly motivated individual to work in the CAD Group.
Responsibilities include:
Preparation of civil engineering plans
Planning and design of roadway and related projects
Planning and design of underground utility and stormwater projects
Planning and design of site development related projects
Assist the project manager and engineer with the preparation of plans
Keep up with the latest CADD technology and client requirements
Qualifications:
High school graduate with an Associate's degree or certificate in drafting technology or related field
Experience working with Illinois DOT's or local agencies preferred
Prior experience in the preparation of plans, plan and profiles, cross-sections and infrastructure improvements
Two (2) to five (5) years of experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D; MicroStation a plus OR
Five (5) to ten (10) years of experience with MicroStation; AutoCAD Civil 3D a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A valid driver's license
