Learning Grove is a leading nonprofit early childhood education provider in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Our centers have operated across Greater Cincinnati for more than 40 years, and we serve children ages 6 weeks through 6 years. Our child care staff work in beautiful, high-quality classrooms.
Quality isn't just a goal; it's where we begin. Ages 0-5 years are a critical point at which education shapes lives and as teachers this makes us co-creators of a child’s brain along with parents.
We're a Cincinnati Enquirer Top Workplace (3 years running) in the region, AND we offer:
Weekday, daytime hours
Comprehensive insurance plans, including pet insurance
Mental health support, paid time off, paid holidays, and paid professional development days
Plenty more benefits that work for you and your whole family
*Pay Scale: $50,000-65,000 annually*
Overview Of The Director Role

The Director assists and implements policies, goals, objectives, and educational philosophy through oversight of the program.
What We Need From You
We’ve built out the state-of-the-art classrooms and guiding principles; we need directors to support the implementation of a developmental Constructivist Theory, as well as mentoring, supervising and evaluating child care staff. You will also manage the business and operations of our USDA/Food Program, United Way, HCDHS Vouchers and community partnerships.
We expect all Learning Grove employees to be committed to equity, diversity, inclusivity, and belonging. We show respect for every child, the people in their lives, and for all team members.
You’re also able to keep confidential information about the program, families, children, staff and the agency.
Learning Grove has supports for you as a director, too. Early childhood coaches, licensed social workers, and other layers of processes and partners are built into our infrastructure to strengthen our commitment to quality and family-centered care.
If you don’t feel like you check every one of these boxes, don’t worry! Let’s talk and see if you’re a good fit. We can also connect you to resources for completing training or education.
