About This Youth Mentor Job

This full-time, part-time, or call-in youth mentor position has multiple shifts available, depending on the specific vacancy. Day, evening, and night shifts are available.

As a full- or part-time Child and Youth Care Worker, you implement daily therapeutic programming that promotes independence among the youth in our care. Throughout the day, you actively teach and model healthy life skills, social skills, and coping mechanisms. You engage the youth in educational and recreational activities, fostering an environment of learning and fun. Leveraging your training in the CARE practice model and TCI system, you ensure a safe and supportive atmosphere, understanding each individual's trauma history and triggers to effectively anticipate and manage crises. Your attention to detail shines as you meticulously document progress and incidents, prioritizing resident safety-both physical and emotional-at all times!

  • 21+ years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to learn the CARE practice model and TCI system
  • Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance
  • Enjoy being a youth mentor
