Role Overview
As a pivotal member of our team, the Vice President of Sales and Marketing will report directly to the President & CEO. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing our sales strategy. Leading a dynamic team, you will drive business growth through strategic initiatives and maintain our competitive edge in the market.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a multi-year growth strategy and annual sales plan in collaboration with executive leadership.
Lead and mentor sales and marketing teams, instilling a culture of innovation, excellence, and customer-centricity.
Execute strategic sales initiatives to elevate market position and expand the customer base.
Oversee the entire sales process, from customer acquisition to contract negotiation and relationship management.
Utilize data analytics to monitor performance metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and drive continuous sales team development.
Promote cross-functional collaboration to enhance customer satisfaction and ensure seamless operations.
Stay informed on industry trends and the competitive landscape to offer strategic insights supporting company objectives.
Requirements
15+ years of progressive sales and marketing experience, with at least a decade in leadership roles.
Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams in a dynamic business setting.
Track record of driving sales growth and expanding market presence, ideally in supply chain or packaging solutions.
Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and innovative mindset in competitive markets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative leadership approach.
Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce is advantageous.
What We Offer
Competitive salary of $200,000 - $230,000 commensurate with experience.
