Hartz Search invites you to explore an exciting opportunity with our client, OSF Healthcare, for the Vice President and Regional Chief Medical Officer role for the Danville-Urbana Market. The VP, Regional CMO will support the Heart of Mary Medical Center (206-bed) and the Sacred Heart Medical Center (174-bed) hospitals and report directly to the Heart of Mary Medical Center President. The VP, Regional CMO will work closely and collaboratively with the Chief Nursing Officer, President, Chief Financial Officer, and other leadership team members to assure high quality, timely and well-coordinated patient-centered care. The VP, Regional CMO, also acts as the clinical liaison between OSF and clinical partnerships such as PSA, Medical Schools, and Medical Staff in leading and successfully achieving results in clinical quality, patient satisfaction, finance (including profitability and growth), safety, and engagement. The VP, Regional CMO drives high-quality, patient-focused care by leading initiatives that promote consistent clinical excellence and practice standards throughout the hospital. The VP, Regional CMO plays a key role in analyzing and prioritizing quality improvement opportunities and advising on physician-related matters. Additionally, the VP, Regional CMO aids in shaping the hospitals’ overall strategy and service development, focusing on quality management to enhance patient experience.HMMC and SHMC are a part of the larger integrated health system, OSF HealthCare, owned and operated by The Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis, headquartered in Peoria, Illinois. POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

  • The VP, Regional Chief Medical Officer will report directly to the President of both facilities, with a dotted line to the OSF System Chief Medical Officer
  • The VP, Regional Chief Medical Officer, will be responsible for all hospital-based physicians.



EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
  • MBA/MHA preferred
  • 10 years of clinical practice experience, 4 years’ experience in a management role
