We are looking for an exceptionally dedicated, talented, and experienced individual to fill the critical role of Chief Information Officer.
JOB SUMMARY:
The CIO is responsible for the acquisition, creation, and secure operation of Ensign College's computing, communication, software, audio/visual systems, and other technology-related elements of the institution. The CIO is ultimately responsible for the user experience of IT consumers and should seek avenues to improve university technology. In this role you will lead interdisciplinary teams of managers, architects, engineers, technicians, and many others that will include university employees, Church Educational System (CES) institution employees, Church employees, and outside contractors. You will participate in and lead strategic IT planning efforts for the institution, and you will represent Ensign College in related discussions within CES.
Education/Experience
Minimum education/experience required:
Bachelor's degree and 10 years of related business/management experience
Preferred:
Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred
Skills, abilities, knowledge:

Experience implementing quality initiatives within organizations
Experience evaluating large vendor contracts
Experience leading change initiatives in challenging environments
Experience managing and participating in cross-functional teams
