We are seeking an entry-level Chemist to join our medical device manufacturing team. You will work in an aseptic environment, following strict production protocols and wearing required PPE daily. This role involves substantial standing and light lifting.
Key Responsibilities
Perform lab techniques like pipetting and measuring in a sterile environment.
Follow SOPs meticulously to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Wear appropriate PPE, including lab coats and surgical masks.
Participate in root cause analysis and troubleshooting assays.
Stand for approximately 90% of the workday and lift containers up to 30 lbs with assistance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a science-related field or Associate's Degree with 2-3 years of relevant lab experience.
Minimum of 1 year of lab experience in an academic or production setting.
Familiarity with organic chemistry or molecular lab techniques is a plus.
Ability to read and follow SOPs with high accuracy.
Reliable and proficient in pipetting.
