The Channel Manager, Direct to Consumer’s main responsibilities include:
Sales planning and execution
Optimize product assortments and pricing strategy
Channel forecasting accuracy
Contribute actively on driving online conversion rates
Plan and execute promotions and campaigns
Ecommerce setup and configuration
This position will be responsible for executing the daily, weekly and monthly sales strategy for ecommerce/Direct to Consumer, focused on both the Electrolux.com brand site and the Family Store closed site. This role will include the management of Affiliate partnerships that drive the majority of the Family Store sales. This person is skilled at prioritizing work, establishing SOP’s and ultimately driving the main area’s KPIs such Sales & Profitability figures, Conversion rates and Forecast accuracy. They will work closely and cross functionally with other D2C teams, more specifically consumer journey, sales operations and product line to build strategies on product offerings, promotions and best consumer experience. The role will also interact with IT, Finance and Customer Service teams to ensure we have the best tech solutions and processes for executing the strategy and supporting customer service teams with proper information to provide the best possible experience to our end consumers. The ideal candidate has a background in sales, eCommerce and experience with Affiliate partnerships.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Responsible for the sales on Electrolux.com and Family Store, including sales forecasting, conversion driving initiatives, traffic acquisition and promotional planning, working closely with cross functional teams across the business to hit monthly and yearly sales goals
Execute planned promotions, configuring eCommerce websites, request content updates based on previous learnings to ensure optimization of sales and margin for channel
Daily and weekly monitoring of sales and relevant KPIs, working closely with consumer journey and paid media to fine tune and drive conversion
Develop and execute Family Store strategy, increasing registered users and driving initial sale and increasing the CLV
Configure Ecommerce platform for Electrolux.com, managing products and services offers to create the correct assortments by platform and product line
Monitor sales consumption and work with the supply chain to ensure availability
Manage promotional calendar, aligning to national promotions alongside D2C-specific promotions and supporting the functions that execute the promotions throughout user journey
Work closely with pricing team to setup and manage price strategies based on opportunities, both internal and external
Support sales operations for Electrolux.com and the Family Store to ensure proper flow of orders from website to consumer delivery
Help to continuously improve the eCommerce websites, analyzing data and user behavior to submit enhancements that ultimately drive sales
Participate in user acceptance testing, provide input, provide suggestions and engage in post deployment monitoring
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required, MBA preferred
Ability to drive change and effectively participate in large, multi-departmental, cross-functional teams to successful achievement of corporate goals.
Strong interpersonal skills – ability to thrive in a “matrix” organization.
Demonstrated ability to facilitate collaborative solutions to complex, multi-disciplinary problems and articulate features and benefits to appropriate management audiences.
Strong business understanding.
Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills.
Ability to adjust/react quickly to changes and changing priorities.
Strong Microsoft Office (excel)
SAP Commerce and ERP(sales) skills are desirable.
Previous experience with eCommerce processes is not required but are desirable
