Background:
The Indian Health Service (IHS) is embarking on an exciting – and technically challenging – deployment of a new, industry leading Electronic Health Record (EHR) capability.ECS is excited to support this journey that has the potential to advance health outcomes and experiences for American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) populations while providing efficiencies for IHS and IHS providers.
Health record deployment is a massive undertaking; ECS’ Change Management consultants will support IHS through implementation to coordinate with the selected System Vendor’s approach, interface with the EHR Program Management Office (PMO) and inform and support the many stakeholders involved in IHS’ Health IT modernization, including Tribes and Tribal Health Programs (THPs) and Urban Indian Organizations (UIOs).We will ensure effective communication and change management without interruption to essential health services and while ensuring access, improving healthcare outcomes for AI/AN populations, and advancing population health.
Role Description
Change Management consultants will deliver client facing consulting services to support the development and implementation of change strategies for the IHS EHR deployment.
Tasks may include:
Provide subject matter expertise related to change management strategies and approaches.
Develop OCM plans and artifacts with minimal supervision.
Facilitate workgroups, user forums and other campaigns to maximize stakeholder engagements.
Effectively and professionally engage with all project stakeholders and explain complex principles in plain language.
Manage communications with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership, to ensure effective and timely dissemination of project updates and changes.
Prepare progress reports and client briefings as well as quality client deliverables.
Professionally represent ECS at client progress meetings and briefings and support day-to-day client relationships and communications.
Salary Range: $75,000-$113,000

Required Skills:
5+ years of related experience
Bachelor’s Degree.
Ability to think strategically to effectively assess clients’ situation and assemble service solutions to meet clients’ needs.
Ability to develop and implement change management plans for large-scale business transformation projects.
Proficiency in relationship and time management, supporting change management, communications, and training support to a federal government client.
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Ability to build and manage internal and external relationships at all levels within an organization while possessing diplomacy and cooperative style necessary to work effectively with diverse individuals across functional disciplines.
Desired Skills:
Federal management consulting experience.
Healthcare management consulting experience.
Experience working with/for AI/AN populations.
PMP Certification.
