The purpose of the Supported Employment and education Specialist (SEE) is to help clients in the NAVIGATE Program achieve goals related to improved role functioning by focusing on their return to school or supportive/competitive employment. SEE principles include zero exclusion, focus on competitive work in integrated community settings, rapid job search, attention to client preferences, and the provision of follow-along support after starting school or a job.
This is an in-person position in Delray Beach, FL.
Miniimum Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science from an accredited US college or university
1-year of experience in mental health
PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or in a related field, from an accredited college or university
2 years of experience with adult and/or adolescent mental health population
Demonstrate the ability to interpret and abide by confidentiality laws, abuse reporting guidelines and client rights requirements and abide by a code of ethical and practice standards
Medical/Mental Health (Counseling, case management, client care, psychiatric, nursing, etc.)
Intermediate to advanced counseling skills
Written & Verbal Communications (Forms completed, letters composed, policies developed; exchange of information, counseling, etc.)
Advanced written and verbal communication skills. Be capable of working with others as part of a team
