Cafeteria Manager

BRIEF DESCRIPTION: A manager’s job is to oversee the entire operation to make sure everything is being done correctly and as efficiently as possible as well as motivate employees in order to achieve such things.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Read, write, and comprehend English
  • Must obtain Food Service Manager’s Card within 90 days of employment
  • Understand simple mathematics---addition, subtraction, division
  • Previous food service experience
  • Knowledge in quantity food production
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and e-mail

Highly Recommended

  • Organized and detail oriented in tackling all tasks and duties
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Good customer service skills
  • Proactive
  • Knows how to treat people with respect, and fair and just
  • Past experience and knowledge in training employees
  • Have knowledge of HACCP
  • Experience with staffing and scheduling
  • Have knowledge of food service industrial equipment
