We are seeking a Lead Cable Service Technician to become an integral part of our team! You will design and install a wide variety of cabling infrastructure using Cat 6 and fiber to include the racks, ladder, and connectivity. Usually at a high level environment and in secure areas. You will be supported by other project managers at all times but expected to have experience in all aspects of this industry.
Will work with internal and external systems as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Supervise installation and maintenance of communication cabling systems
Splicing and testing fiber cabling with OTDR.
Build out data rooms and cable pathways.
Terminate and test Cat 6 cabling.
Provide training and support to telecommunications personnel
Investigate customer issues and design appropriate solutions
Order and maintain inventory stock supplies
Qualifications:
Previous experience in telecommunications, network cabling, fiber cabling, switch and router installation or related fields
Familiarity with telecommunications equipment
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
