Jet manufacturing company looking for Cabinet Finisher that will work with the finish coating process and perform other duties that support the delivery of aircraft cabinets.
Would like candidate that has air craft cabinet experience or automotive.
Duties:
Work from drawings, sketches, pictures, or verbal specifications to stain, finish, and polish cabinets, cabinet parts, and sub assemblies including inlays, patterns, and special designs.
Strip finish as needed.
Prepare surfaces before painting by sanding, steaming, filling, and cleaning.
Protect all areas by coving with proper materials before painting or stripping.
Select and mix proper paint to the manufacturer's specifications.
Set up, use spray gun for proper application of urethane, lacquer, enamel, water base, and epoxy paints.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
One year of experience preparing, sanding or stripping wood or metal surfaces for application of primer.
One year experience with polishing, buffing and/or one year of touch up painting by hand or similar artistic background.
Able to use standard spray paint equipment: paint guns, sanding equipment, dual action orbital sander and common hand tools.
Monday-Friday; candidate flexible with both first and second shift.
$20-$30/hour; DOE
If offered position background check and drug test would be required.
