BASIC REQUIREMENTS Must have a valid Missouri teaching certificate in Business 9-12 and Marketing 9-12 or a BS in Business Administration and the willingness to pursue a career in teaching. Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity, interest, and abilities of students. Guide the learning process toward the achievement of established District curriculum goals, establish and communicate clear objectives to the students for all lessons, units and projects. Employ a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media including project based learning, STEAM oriented lessons, deeper learning techniques with opportunities for students to showcase their learning in exhibits and events. Assess the accomplishments of students on a regular basis, provide progress reports as required, and communicated with parents regularly. Maintain accurate, complete and correct records as required by law, District policy, and administration regulations. Develop classroom expectations, which are consistent with established District Student Expectations Code and the assigned building. Utilize the tenets of PBIS and Restorative Practices in implementing classroom expectations. Project Based Learning training preferred, STEM training preferred, and/or willingness to become trained.
