Business Systems Analyst

**100% Remote - must be willing to occasionally travel to North Carolina as needed.**

Our client, a leader in their industry is looking for a Business Systems Analyst to join their team.

Pay Rate: $40.00 - $48.00/hr on W2

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range.

Responsibilities of the Business Systems Analyst:

• Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of analytic tools for signal detection and evaluation
• Work under the direction of the Associate Director, Statistical Safety Programming
• Work in close collaboration with physicians and scientists to develop/maintain/troubleshoot the analytical applications
• Assist with GxP validation of the applications where appropriate
• Assist with administrative tasks associated with statistical software maintenance (licensing, deployment, periodic review, etc.)

Requirements of the Business Systems Analyst:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and at least 3 years of experience in developing solutions using SQL and PL/SQL
• At least 2 years of experience working with JMP Application Builder to develop interactive applications/dashboards
• Experience in two or more of the following: Visual Basic, JSL, Java, HTML, XML or SAS
• Demonstrated ability to create solutions from initial design through validation of production application and continued support
• Demonstrated understanding of basic statistical principles
• Proficiency in JMP Scripting Language (JSL)
• Strong working knowledge of JMP statistical software
• Strong understanding of relational databases, database programming skills and tools
