Cask is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to develop and execute data strategies that drive business outcomes and maximize the value of data within Cask and for our clients. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data to improve business processes, enhance decision-making, and drive innovation.

Development of an overall data analytics strategy that encompasses all our critical data, and oversight of the implementation of that strategy, is key to this role. In addition, you will ensure that the implemented strategy positively impacts key business objectives and helps Cask achieve our business goals.

Operationally, you will collaborate with all levels of the organization to ensure our data is accurate and available. Acting as a service organization within Cask, providing our internal customers with a mechanism to seek guidance and assistance, responding in a timely manner, and measuring success by the outcomes that can be achieved based on the data provided is paramount to the success of this role.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead initiatives to develop, implement, and manage business intelligence solutions using Tableau and other data visualization tools, providing actionable insights to internal stakeholders
• Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategy
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into data models and dashboards
• Utilize expert-level MS Excel skills to manipulate, analyze, and present data in a clear and actionable manner
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business objectives and ensure BI solutions support strategic goals and operational needs
• Build and maintain a comprehensive data strategy, partnering with other departments and tool owners to ensure reliable and accurate data is available throughout the organization
• Collaborate with the IT Department to ensure data access and security adheres to best practices and compliance requirements
• Work directly with stakeholders with Cask to understand and anticipate their data needs
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for BI processes, data models, and reporting methodologies
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and data analytics
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

What You’ll Bring To The Table

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
• 5-8 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related role
• Proven experience in a consulting firm with a focus on SaaS implementations
• Expertise in data visualization tools, especially Tableau
• Advanced skills in MS Excel, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data modeling
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze large datasets and provide actionable insights
• Experience in developing and maintaining data governance strategies to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results on time

Note: Base salary range is $100,000 to $130,000 CAD. This range represents the expected compensation for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range when taking into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to location; skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
