We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our IT team. The Business Analyst will play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, working closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for IT projects and initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for IT projects and initiatives
Conduct interviews, workshops, and stakeholder meetings to gather and clarify requirements, objectives, and constraints
Analyze and translate business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications, use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements documents, process flows, data models, and system diagrams
Work closely with development teams to ensure that requirements are accurately understood and implemented
Facilitate communication and collaboration between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle
Assist in the evaluation and selection of IT solutions and vendors, including conducting vendor assessments and participating in vendor negotiations
Perform gap analysis and identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization
Support testing activities, including test planning, test case development, and user acceptance testing
Provide ongoing support and guidance to business users, including training and documentation as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, preferably in the IT industry
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business processes and systems
Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
Experience with requirements gathering techniques, such as interviews, workshops, and use case analysis
Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques, such as process modeling, data modeling, and requirement management tools
Knowledge of software development methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall
Familiarity with project management tools, such as Jira, Microsoft Project, or Trello
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership
Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is a plus
