Position Summary

The Branch Manager at CFG Bank is responsible for ensuring the successful operation and performance of a cashless branch. This role includes driving deposit growth, enhancing sales, and developing employees to meet the bank's objectives. The manager will oversee the day-to-day operations, including client management, security, audit, and compliance. Additionally, the Branch Manager will represent the bank in the community to promote its image and build strong relationships. This branch operates 9am-4pm Monday-Thursday, 9am-5pm Friday, and is closed on weekends.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Actively manage the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring efficient and effective performance.
  • Manage and develop branch employees, providing coaching and motivation to achieve goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all bank regulatory policies and procedures, including security and audit protocols.
  • Promote bank products and services within the branch and proactively seek sales opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships through community involvement, referrals, and direct interactions.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Manage the branch budget and oversee controllable expenses.
  • Ensure the branch environment is clean, orderly, and all equipment is in good working condition.

Qualifications And Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of related management experience and a bachelor's degree.
  • Strong understanding of IRA account structure, rules, and requirements.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with the public, staff, and other departments.
  • Experience with Jack Henry or Fiserv banking systems preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and coach staff.
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of government regulations related to banking responsibilities.
  • Organized, meticulous, and capable of lifting office supplies up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to sell and cross-sell bank products and services effectively.
  • Flexible working hours and availability to work in different branches as needed.
  • Ability to perform in any branch position as required.
