We are seeking a Bookkeeper / Staff Accountant for our client, a biotech research firm headquartered in Philadelphia, PA. This full-time role supports the Director of Finance in managing all accounting functions as well as management of all grant activities. Must have a high proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, and general ledger accounting. Ideal candidates will be detail oriented, personable, and require minimal supervision. A great opportunity to transition to the position of Grant Management Director in 2-3 years.
Responsibilities:
Full maintenance of general ledger, bank reconciliations, receivables, and payables.
Learn all grant management activities.
Book and maintain individual grants' budgets.
Prepare related grant's expense reports.
Requirements:
Bachelor in Accounting or Finance
Highly skilled in multidepartment general ledger accounting.
High proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks.
