Bookkeeper

The Staff Accountant will be an integral piece to our continued growth and expansion efforts into new markets, partnerships and product offerings. General Accounting

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  
  

Month-End Close

• Design and lead the month-end close process, preparing financial statements and actionable reports.
• Complete monthly bank reconciliations.
• Provide assistance with payroll, invoicing, commission, and subcontractor payments.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in alignment with the month-end close schedule.
• Monitor credit card statements.
• Track key expenses.
  
  

Collaboration

• Work closely with the VP of Finance to support financial planning and analysis, cost analysis, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for financial reporting.
• Work closely with project managers to monitor product returns and reconcile supply billing.
• Create and track job-level financials, ensuring all relevant costs are identified.
• Prepare audit schedules, support audit processes, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Accounting
• 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on general accounting functions and financial reporting
• General ledger accounting, accounts receivable and accounts payable experience
• Proficient in Quickbooks Online, Oracle NetSuite, or other accounting software; experience in system implementation is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  
  

Salary range: $75,000-$85,000
