Extract/Source
Support the on going source system configuration requirement on ADF to ensure source data can be loaded to the DM environment.
Provide technical solutions using ADF that can be utilized to support both technical and manual cleansing requirements on source data as they become known.
Become familiar with source systems files structures and data designed to support the transformation process.
Additional related technical tasks as required to support the delivery of source data onto the ADF environment for the migration as required Transform:
Utilizing project functional requirement documents (FDD’s) and source to target mapping documents develop transformations solutions as required to support migration to Single view
Works closely with the Functional DM role to develop and deliver the above.
Production of a technical specification documents for each data object / transformed file/table delivered as part of the Shapes DM process.
Provide Audit trial reporting on the DM using ADF ETL tool kit.
Provide DM error reports to support the remediation of transformation errors identified as part of the Shapes trial migration and project testing milestones.
Provide supporting inputs into project documentation like source to target mapping documents.
Support the data validation exercise across the project lifecycle milestones.
Adhoc data analysis and report generation as required to support the business in any decision making necessary as part of the migration & validation of data to support the Shapes data migration effort.
Update build Tracker to support the management of the migration logic.
Update of load trackers to support the management and monitoring of the data migration e2e process.
