HotFoot Recruiters is excited to partner with a leading financial services and banking company to fill the position of Automation Engineer. In this role, you will design, implement, and optimize automation solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy within financial services processes.
Title: Automation Engineer
Type: Full-Time; Contract; Offsite
Location: Des Peres, MO 63131
Pay Range: $80/hr. DOE
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create an automation strategy aligned with company goals.
Assess existing processes to pinpoint and prioritize opportunities for automation.
Design, develop, and implement automation scripts and workflows to streamline financial services operations.
Utilize automation tools to improve efficiency in data processing, reporting, and transactional workflows.
Conduct rigorous testing of automation solutions to ensure they meet reliability, accuracy, and regulatory standards.
Work with stakeholders to validate and document the outcomes of automation implementations.
Establish monitoring systems to track the performance and effectiveness of automation processes.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for automation solutions, addressing issues and implementing improvements as needed.
Develop detailed documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides for automation systems.
Train internal teams to ensure smooth integration and understanding of automation tools and processes.
Collaborate with IT, operations, and business units to ensure automation initiatives support organizational objectives.
Engage with external vendors for the evaluation and integration of automation tools.
Continuously identify and recommend improvements for automation processes.
Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies in automation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience as an Automation Engineer, ideally within the financial services industry
Proficiency with automation tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or similar platforms
Strong programming skills in Python, Java, and experience with scripting languages
Familiarity with financial processes, regulations, and compliance requirements
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Effective communication and collaboration abilities
Experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Microsoft Power Automate, Power BI, and technical requirements analysis
Knowledge of Java, test planning, Python, scripting, and documentation
Expertise in Automation Anywhere and robotic process automation (RPA)
Technical leadership and maintenance of automation processes
Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint and system-level understanding
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage operations
