Audit Supervisor

We have a hybrid model – office, remote, and client sites.

Deliverables:

• Strong communication with clients and engagement team. Escalates issues early to drive success
• Provides open communication to all staff to promote positive learning environment
• Understands engagement/project profitability and budget monitoring
• Responsible for all phases of engagement including participation in planning through timely completion. Supervises staff, performs detailed review and appropriate review points for staff
• Experience preparing financial statements including implementation of changes in accounting or audit
• Researches, develops, and documents complicated engagement issues. Discusses complex issues with experts or engagement team
• Performs self-review
• Drives quality throughout the deliverable process
• Assists training department on audit and/or staff development sessions

Background/Attributes:

• Bachelor’s degree Accounting or degree and 24 credits in Accounting
• 4+ years-experience in for profit audit; privately held companies preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to develop staff and provide guidance to closely held clients
• Experience with s/w applications including Microsoft office and other accounting and practice management s/w.
