Audience Analyst

Contracted role through AgileOne, working for Yahoo!

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• 3-5 years of experience working in Tech/Media, ideally in editorial, content analysis, or content quality
• Strong editorial skills with a keen eye for quality, detail, and a good sense of what consumers want to see online
• Passion for the creator economy and experience working with creators and their teams
• Excellent organizational skills with multitasking capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
• Ability to pay attention to detail and excellent written, verbal, and professional communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Review and vet inbound creator applications for the Yahoo for Creators program, maintaining content quality and ensuring applicants meet creator criteria guidelines before acceptance.
• Form an understanding of Yahoo’s readership to onboard exciting, relevant, and trusted content for our users via creators accepted into the program.
• Analyze the independent writer and creator ecosystem, identify new content categories for expansion, and compile prospect lists to support the Director of Creator Development in identifying and engaging a diverse range of potential creators for the program.
• Support the Director of Creator Development's recruiting efforts as necessary, including creator outreach, communicating Yahoo for Creators' value proposition to creators, and attending conferences or industry events.
• Handle inquiries and facilitate the onboarding process for recruited creators, ensuring a seamless transition into the program once accepted.
