Job Description: Attorney - Junior International Trade Associate - Washington, DC

We are seeking a junior associate to join our growing National Security & Global Trade practice in our Washington, D.C. office. The Attorney Junior International Trade will be responsible for providing legal advice and representation to clients on a variety of international trade matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of international trade law and regulations, as well as experience working with clients in a variety of industries.

Education Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Bar Admission

  • Must be admitted to practice in Washington, D.C.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with export controls, ITAR, CFIUS, sanctions, and other trade-related areas.
  • Direct and applicable experience in an AmLaw 100 law firm.
  • Preferred: Experience in government and/or relevant agencies.

Work Environment

  • Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work primarily involves sitting.
  • Hybrid work environment with some in-office expectations.
  • Some travel required.

Pay Transparency

The expected annual pay range for this position, if hired to work in Washington, DC is $260,000 - $390,000 per year. The compensation offered to a candidate selected for employment will be dependent upon various factors, including the candidate’s geographic market, skills, educational and professional background, experience, and overall qualifications. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k).
