About The Team
You will be part of the corporate retail team to create compelling store presentations that determines the Visual look and feel in the retail stores. Prototyping and communicating these strategies to stores via floor set deck and weekly visual updates are a key part of the role.
About The Role
As the Associate Visual Manager, you will be the point person for all field communication concerning visual execution. Clear, concise, communication and follow-up is a crucial part of this role. You will also support the planning and execution of the seasonal direction for the Rejuvenation retail stores with cross-functional corporate partners to maximize sales and drive brand growth through Retail strategies determined annually.
Responsibilities
Participate in seasonal assortment reviews and Showback (seasonal merchandise preview).
Plan and manage the execution of seasonal floor sets at flagship store, with the lens of effective execution for all store levels (volume, square footage, assortment, etc.)
Act as an owner and drive ideation and execution for all installation projects for new launches, seasonal updates and fixture needs
Execute all seasonal floor set deck production including detailed direction for all areas of the store with photography and sku lists
Execute updates, photograph and communicate to teams via weekly retail visual update.
Partner to ideate and track signage and Marketing needs with Creative team for upcoming seasons
Point person for all promotion signage needs based on lists provided by merchant partners per the promotions calendar.
Analyze weekly reporting to determine areas of opportunity for visual updates to improve sales productivity. Participate in weekly business review and communicate visual retail updates to corporate and retail cross-functional partners.
Work with cross functional partners to react to business critical updates in a timely manner.
Criteria
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in retail visual merchandising. Prior experience in home furnishings industry a plus.
Previous management experience in a deadline driven environment – guiding and influencing others to produce results as a team.
Strong knowledge of brand business acumen and relationship to visual merchandising to influence brand vision and drive sales.
Exceptional attention to detail, strong initiative, and ability to work independently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels.
Ability to prioritize and execute multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 lbs., while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
Ability work a flexible schedule when business needs dictates. Some extended travel may be required.
Proficiency in using Adobe InDesign
Ability to perform work onsite in the Portland office full-time pending state, local, and Company return-to-work guidance during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ability to be mobile for extended periods of time (including standing, walking, bending, carrying, and reaching) when participating in floor sets, installations and new store openings.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite of products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
