We are dedicated to supporting our clients in their philanthropic endeavors by ensuring efficient and timely grant processing. The Grants Associate is a key role responsible for supporting our grant processing function. Working closely with Client Service and Operations team members, this position provides daily support, assists in related project implementations, and elevates and refines our client service with respect to our grant processing.

This is a full time, remote and can work from anywhere in the US with work hours aligning with Eastern Standard Time (9-5:30 with some flexibility). As a remote, people-first culture, we care deeply about our team members' connections to one another and as such, travel 2-3 times per year to company events will be required.
Key Responsibilities

Grants Processing
Be a critical member of the Operations team by providing support for weekly grants processing
Conduct grantee due diligence to ensure grant eligibility, including email and phone outreach as needed
Track status of and verify electronic payment details for grantee organizations
Assist with weekly grant approvals and grant letter email process
Other Responsibilities
Proactively propose and document process improvement opportunities
Utilize ticket management system for timely and transparent processing of all responsibilities
Use judgement to escalate issues and requests appropriately
Provide excellent customer service via phone and email, as needed
Other ad hoc duties as required
Qualifications
Associate's degree in finance, business, economics, or related field; minimum 2 years of experience in an operations, data entry, finance, or client service role; OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Non-profit experience a plus!
Basic understanding of investments and financial services, impact investing, donor advised funds, custodial relationships preferred
Energetic and organized individual; highly attuned organizational skills, attention to detail, professional demeanor, ability to work independently and prioritize competing demands
Knowledge and passion for using investing as a means by which to engender social or environmental impact
Demonstrated focus on continuous improvement and ability to identify and implement process improvements, especially through the use of systems and technology
Able to develop a sense of urgency around processing and response timelines
Resourceful in searching for responses to questions and developing solutions
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams required
Proficiency with cloud-based collaboration tools Box and Asana preferred
Experience working with Freshdesk preferred
Experience working in a virtual working environment preferred
