Marcum Search is seeking a Senior Manager/Associate Director of IT for our pharmaceutical client in Suffolk County, NY. The ideal candidate will have prior leadership experience in the pharmaceutical industry and will work fully onsite, leading the IT team to manage IT systems and infrastructure, drive digital transformation, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring service availability and reliability to support production operations.
Lead and support the IT team, providing technical support to end-users in various departments including Lab, Manufacturing, Packaging, Regulatory Affairs, Warehouse, and Accounting.
Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures for compliance and data security.
Monitor IT performance and implement improvements.
Align IT with operational needs by collaborating with cross-functional teams and implementing digital solutions to improve efficiency and streamline processes.
Develop and execute the site IT strategy and roadmap.
Manage vendor relationships and negotiate IT service contracts.
Perform routine preventive maintenance on hardware and software.
Required Education And Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
8-10 years of IT leadership experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, Pharma business processes, Quality Systems, and GMP regulations.
Broad knowledge of IT disciplines including Network, Security, Infrastructure, and Manufacturing Systems.
Salary is estimated between $110,000 - $130,000.
