About The Role
Spiegelworld is looking for an Assistant Venue Manager to join the team at our brand new production, DiscoShow, located at the LINQ in Las Vegas. It is the primary responsibility of this position to assist in running the day-to-day front of house operations for show. This position will facilitate managing a high-energy venue with supervision of the usher team to deliver seamless guest experiences, promoting a positive and safe work environment. The ideal candidate should be comfortable being hands-on and active on the house floor with both guests and staff. This role reports to the Director of Venue Operations.

Responsibilities
- Assist in front of house operations including the execution of safety, cleanliness, and operational protocols to create memorable guest experiences.
- Implements customer service standards including the assistance in resolving guest concerns and questions.
- Being visible in the operation, actively participating in service and daily operations.
- Motivating and coaching employees to established cultural and core work standards are met.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and/or monthly meetings with the front of the house employees.
- Take ownership of guest concerns and requests while acting decisively to ensure guest satisfaction when issues occur.
- Performing pre- and post-service checks.
- Ensuring adherence to policies and procedures, setting the standard for excellence in the venue.
- Monitoring and tracking inventory and preparing weekly and monthly orders as necessary.
- Perform open and closing procedures.
- Monitor risk management as it pertains to the venue such as employee and guest safety, loss prevention, emergency situations, and the proper handling, reporting, and investigating of accidents.
- Work well with a team to keep an upbeat, fun, and safe workplace.
- Take the initiative to complete tasks independently.
- Other duties as assigned by the managing director.
What You Bring
- At least three (3) years of related experience with a minimum of two (2) years in a leadership role.
- Ideal candidates will have worked directly in the entertainment or performing arts industries.
- High School diploma or GED. A bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- Positive, engaging personality, and professional appearance.
- Exceptional interpersonal, listening, and communication skills.
- Ability to enforce company policies.
- Strong work ethic with flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Proven people management, motivation, and development skills to be an inspirational leader to your team.
- Passion for ensuring you and your team deliver the highest standards consistently and ensuring that the guest is at the center of the experience.
- Exceptional work ethic, strong attention to detail, and a collaborative attitude.
- Must have or obtain a TAM card.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and have valid work authorization for the US

- Work is performed in a high volume professional foodservice and theater environment.
- Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination and air quality. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Lift up to 35 lbs
- Walk up and down stairs within venues connecting multi-level operation
- Type on a keyboard and remain standing before a computer monitor for extended periods of time.
