Tri Pointe Homes is looking for an experienced individual to join our talented group as an Assistant Treasurer.

Position Highlights: The Assistant Treasurer will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of treasury operations, including setting up and provisioning accounts, approving ACH transactions, evaluating account services, managing wire transfers, credit services, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent, a strong understanding of banking services, and the ability to initiate and evaluate requests for proposals (RFPs) for banking services.

Position Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with banks and financial institutions to set up new accounts and provision account services as needed.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with internal policies and banking regulations.
  • Monitor account activity and reconcile account balances regularly.
  • Review and approve Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Ensure timely processing and accurate recording of ACH transactions.
  • Monitor ACH activity to detect and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized transactions.
  • Initiate and evaluate requests for various account services, including cash management, credit cards, deposits, payments, liquidity solutions, and treasury products.
  • Analyze service proposals from banks and vendors to assess their suitability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions to optimize service levels and pricing.
  • Oversee the initiation and execution of wire transfers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
  • Manage credit facilities and lines of credit, including monitoring usage, covenant compliance, and interest rate management.
  • Develop strategies to optimize the utilization of credit facilities and minimize borrowing costs.
  • Streamline banking processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and implement treasury management systems or other financial technologies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate banking processes with other financial systems and workflows.

Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in banking, treasury management, or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of banking services, products, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in initiating and evaluating requests for proposals (RFPs) for banking services.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or similar certification preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: The expected base salary range for this position is between $105,100-156,900 per year, depending on experience and skillset. Base Salary is paid bi-weekly, every other Friday.
  • Bonus: This position is eligible for an annual performance-based cash bonus. Bonuses are earned, calculated and paid in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Company’s applicable incentive plan document.
