The Assistant Spa Manager works in tandem with the Spa Leadership to provide a unique experience and service to all Aman Spa guests.
Responsibilities
Responsible for but not limited to:
Track all spa inventory including retail and professional and make sure proper monthly inventory reports are completed in a timely matter.
Ensure professional products are being used correctly in all treatments performed and assist in pre-measuring for each treatment booked.
Assist in providing detailed consultations with Aman Spa guests to ensure their wellness experience during their stay is personalized
Assist with development of Spa menu to ensure the guest experience remains fresh and regionally relevant
Assist with overseeing all departmental functions including short and long term planning, as well as day-to-day operations
Deliver and train staff on guest service standards which are consistent with the Aman philosophy
Qualifications
Five years’ experience in Spa Operations, preferably in a supervisory role
Knowledge of general health and sanitation codes
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment, maintaining a professional attitude to deal effectively with guests, management and employees
Professional appearance and demeanor
Must be willing and able provide guests with information on a variety of spa treatments
Four year college degree in relevant field
