Renowned for our signature menu of legendary burgers and famous original cheddar fries, we pride ourselves in fresh, scratch-made products throughout our kitchens. All of our burgers are fresh – never frozen – 100% ground chuck and cooked to order. Our chicken fingers are hand-breaded and fried to golden perfection. And, each order of our original cheddar fries are topped with freshly grated aged Wisconsin cheddar cheese over our hand-cut Idaho potato fries.
Local Favorite Restaurants is looking for a talented Assistant Manager to join the team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to gain more experience in management. The Assistant Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant in conjunction with the General Manager to ensure the team delivers the required tasks with the highest quality and standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide leadership, direction, and structure to hourly team members
Manage restaurant operations and finances by directing and coordinating activities consistent with established goals, objectives, and policies.
Recruit and train new hires on business practices.
Coaches and develops both FOH and BOH teams to work in unison for the benefit of the guest.
Ensure that quality of work or service is maintained.
Implement programs to ensure attainment of business plan for growth and profit.
Identify any operational issues and give timely feedback to the team so they can impact the operational opportunities.
Achieve budgeted goals for each accounting period, meeting EBITDA goals.
Ensure guests consistently receive high quality food and service in accordance with brand standards.
Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas.
Develop, implement, and review Local Store Marketing to increase Guest counts.

Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of 2 years of proven experience working in management in a restaurant
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must have Food Handler and TABC certifications
Comfortable working with payroll
Strong communications skills
Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to cope with pressure and multiple deadlines
Ability to develop high-performing, cohesive teams
Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with fellow Team Members
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Possess the ability to motivate and maintain effective working relationships with all Team Members
