Job Description:
They are seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager to support their project management team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects, from initial planning through completion. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to grow their career in construction project management.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Project Manager in all phases of project management, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
Coordinate and communicate with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Prepare and manage project documentation, including contracts, schedules, budgets, and reports.
Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Help manage project budgets and financials, including cost control and forecasting.
Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure work is being performed according to specifications and timelines.
Identify and resolve issues and conflicts that may arise during the construction process.
Support the Project Manager in client meetings and presentations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in construction project management or a related role.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, means, and methods.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam).
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Strong understanding of safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
PMP or other relevant certification is a plus.
