Assistant Finance Manager - Remote | WFH

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Assistant Finance Manager to join our team. As Assistant Finance Manager, you will report to the Finance Manager and be responsible for a wide range of financial tasks including financial reporting, accounting, bookkeeping, AP, AR, financial analysis, payroll backup, and implementation projects.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive support to the Finance Manager in achieving departmental goals.

Assist in the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Generate and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Collaborate effectively with internal teams and international colleagues on various tasks and projects.

Support the budget preparation and forecasting processes.

Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable duties efficiently.

Oversee the processing of invoices, payments, and receipts.

Ensure compliance with current financial regulations and accounting standards.

Monitor and manage the company's cash flow and liquidity effectively.

Assist in variance analysis and identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.

Analyze financial data and trends to provide valuable insights and recommendations.

Provide ADP Total Source payroll reports and handle payroll processing as needed.

Assist in preparing financial presentations and reports for senior management.

Offer ad-hoc financial analysis and support as required.

Travel twice annually to attend company meetings and workshops in the Northeast.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required.

Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Finance or Accounting role.

Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop is essential.

Proficiency in SAP Business by Design preferred.

Strong proficiency in Excel, MS Outlook, Teams, Word, and PowerPoint.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Strong written, verbal, and presentation abilities.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Effective multitasking and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.

Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
