Assistant Facility Manager

Let It Grow Inc., a large Landscape and Site Construction company located in River Edge/Clifton NJ, is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager. The position is responsible for assisting the Facilities Manager directly, to assist with various detail-oriented accounting tasks such as, but not limited to: Inventory management, payroll, internal reporting, clerical tasks, and performing special duties as needed. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ASSISTANT FACILITIES MANAGER:

• Data entry, payroll, purchase orders, scheduling
• Safety orientation and on site training tracking
• Prepare monthly fuel reports
• Monitor inventory and order new items as necessary
• Breakdown fuel usage and expenses
• Tracking and reviewing various transactions and updating logs
• Creating and updating project numbers across all internal softwares
• Flexibility in role to fill in for vacations and absences across all facilities functions with short notice
• Must be detailed oriented, take initiative and able to multi-task
• Maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering reporting information
• Special projects as needed
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
• Strong interpersonal skills: excellent written and verbal communication capabilities
  
  

PREFERRED ACCOUNTING CLERK EXPERIENCE:

• College credits working toward Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management required. We will train the individual in our systems and business processes.
• Construction experience is a plus
• MS Office and knowledge of construction software Procore a plus
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting and bookkeeping principles and procedures
• Microsoft Word and strong Excel skills required
