Job Title: Art Conservator

Place of Performance:Denver, Colorado

Duties:

  • The objects are to be safely moved to the designated preservation site and protective covers are to be removed where applicable
  • Objects shall be free from dust, dirt, grime, detritus, and any other foreign object(s)
  • Damages should be repaired and/or minimized
  • Stabilize the structure of the models
  • Objects are to be protected from exposure to damaging elements and unauthorized access

Requirement:

  • Master’s degree in conservation
  • Previous experience in similar position(No less than 3 years)
  • Knowledge of art restoration and preservation techniques
  • Ability to develop and maintain processes for handling artwork
