This role involves producing high-quality project deliverables across all project phases, including Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, and Construction Administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Project Architect in developing project documents for bidding and construction.
Provide input on design and construction schedules, communicating technical implications of design decisions.
Organize and lead architectural and engineering teams to ensure timely and coordinated project execution.
Support various tasks essential for the successful completion of projects.
Prepare and review project construction documents.
Coordinate and communicate with consultants, contractors, and team members to ensure document accuracy and compliance.
Review shop drawings, project submittals, and document code compliance.
Collaborate with management, clients, consultants, and contractors on daily business operations.
Engage in other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: AAS in Drafting Technology preferred; an Architectural degree is a plus.
Experience: 4-8 years of professional experience preferred.
Skills: Proficiency in Revit is a must. Experience with AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp, or other 3D modeling and rendering software is a plus.
Industry Experience: Preferably in Educational, Corporate, Aviation, or Light Industrial sectors.
Attributes: Strong organizational skills, ability to work under pressure, prioritize multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior management, external clients, and vendors.
