Responsibilities
you work virtually and closely with your design team to create detailed, comprehensive, and accurate drawings for our various construction projects. From start to finish, you are the captain who keeps your team's work on track, on time, and within budget. After analyzing preliminary drawings and assessing their feasibility, you use CAD software to design intricate building plans. You also assist your team with tasks such as project work, specification writing, deficiency identification, and contractor management.
Your knowledge of safety codes, modern building trends, and structural components ensures that every drawing meets all regulations and client desires. By collaborating with engineers and stakeholders, you make sure to present an incredible final draft for our clients and the construction team.
Qualifications
Experience producing design deliverables for the concept, schematic, detail, and construction document stages of a project
Ability to create architectural construction drawings for all types of buildings and facilities
Strong knowledge of wood frame construction and structural design
Knowledge about building and safety codes as well as a range of relevant products, materials, and industry standards
Proficiency with software such as Microsoft Office, Autodesk Revit, and AutoCAD
