Typical Day in the Role

• Purpose of the Team: Client Cloud Industry (MCI) which their CVP reports to. They are focused on supporting ISVs to implement/record AI solutions to their products. Co-pilot, building own AI solutions etc. – so their team built a few products internally to help ISVs to be more productive. Combing bringing products in and accelerating their processes.

Key projects:

• The project they are working on is what they call the ISV Gen AI engagement. They have a list of priority SVs to guide each one to envisioning process of what they’re trying to do and the technical envisioning to help decide what the gen AI solution they want to focus on.
• They help developing up until launch and bring onto Azure marketing place. They keep an eye on these to see if they are growing or find in gaps in growth.
• This role would contribute to help track end-to-end ISVs.
• The data is in different tools (excel, CRM 365 and ADO).
• This person needs to understand ADO as they plan to transfer excel data to ADO and PowerBI.
• Each month they send progress to CVP.
• Want to make process less manual through PowerBI.

Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm:

• 30% meetings, 30% reaching out to folks to make connections (contact different teams across Client for 1 on 1s – interview people to understand information needed), 60% heads down / building solutions / envisioning to help what powerBI will look like

Candidate Requirements

• Years of Experience Required: 5-7 overall years of experience in the field.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required

Summary:

• Designs and develops internal business systems/applications under deadline pressure or takes primary role in smaller, low risk projects.
• Communicates and defends design, requirements, feature set, functionality, usability, localization issues, and limitations of subsystem to the team. 3-5 years of work related experience.
• Specialized expertise in specified areas of Windows client/server development environment and solid software engineering practices required.
• Must be considered an expert in a specific business/functional area.
• Must have the ability to proactively identify issues and coordinate resolutions.
• May require an advanced knowledge of technology in one area and moderate level skills in multiple areas (e.g., C++, C, VB, SQL).
• The ISVAI team within the Client Cloud for Industry (MCI) organization manages a portfolio of ISVs that build innovative solutions leveraging Azure OpenAI, Client Copilot and ISVAI products with the goal to foster marketplace adoption and drive ACR.
• Currently, ISVAI has an ADO instance, a CRM and a hybrid excel solution that is used by the engineering PMs to manage these ISV solutions.

Under the client direction, the supplier will provide capacity to support the development efforts to enhance and streamline the current process by

• Integrating data sources (Excel, ADO, CRM) into a singular, cohesive system and
• Developing a PBI solution that consolidates these key product development insights (along with data from additional sources) into a comprehensive reporting and business intelligence view.
• This initiative is critical for providing Client with a deeper understanding of the progress and business outcomes achieved by the Client’s product integration into these ISV solutions.

The supplier will provide resource capacity that will perform the following activities:

• Integrate existing excel tracker into ADO or CRM (extending its traditional set of fields, if applicable), including data transfer and content alignment
• Requirement Analysis, Detailed Design (based on underlying data sources) and Visualization Design for new requirements, change requests and production defects
• Build Power BI Dashboards / Reports based on requirements
• Provide UAT and production support
• Integrate with other data sources such as Solutions Insights and Marketplace Execution Report
• Sprint planning & backlog maintenance, publish capacity plan and release calendar
• Propose visualization improvements in existing dashboards and partner with GPS and Eng PMs for inclusion in backlog

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• Experience with ADO, MER and PowerBI required.
• Prior Client experience preferred.
