AP/Payroll Accountant

LHH is partnering with a growing non-profit organization on this Accounts Payable/Payroll Accountant position. We are looking for individuals who have a desire to work in non-profit or healthcare industry with an accounts payable background. This position offers a flexible hybrid schedule in Manhattan with exciting growth opportunities.


Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing invoices prior to payment
  • Processing payments; posting in accounting software
  • Reviewing coding and AP aging
  • Forecasting expenses
  • Performing monthly credit card reconciliations
  • Processing bi-weekly payroll; creating payroll journal entry


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Non-profit experience with expense allocating and grant reporting preferred
  • Experience with accounts payable required
  • Payroll experience a plus


Compensation: $70-80K, depending on experience.
