Worksite: On-site

Position: Full-time

Schedule: 40hours/week

Requirements:

  • Minimum two years of experience in expressive and receptive skills
  • Proficient in oral spoken English to signed English and various sign language modes
  • Ability to interpret accurately in diverse settings
  • High language proficiency in both English and sign language

Duties:

The Sign Language Interpreter shall:

  • Interpret oral spoken English into signed English and American Sign Language (ASL)
  • Interpret Pidgin sign English (PSE) into oral English
  • Interpret Tactile (deaf and blind) into oral English
  • Interpret oral English with sign or ASL (in reverse) back into oral English
