Responsible for ensuring that aircraft that have undergone maintenance, repair & alteration conform to the approved /accepted technical data and are in a condition for safe operation.
Performs the inspection of aircraft for functional operation and conformance to FAA, government and company standards and specifications.
Inspects the installation and operation of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, oil, and emergency systems and other parts and equipment of aircraft. *Performs pre-flight and post-flight inspections in accordance with standard procedure on flight-proven aircraft.
Inspects Critical Characteristics (CC) in accordance with the Sikorsky Flight Safety Parts Program.
Performs receiving inspection of all material for compliance prior to installation on the aircraft. Releases aircraft for flight operations.
Inspects any adjustments, repairs, or modifications made on the aircraft.
Performs internal audits to monitor and verify quality in accordance with approved company processes, procedures and approved/accepted technical data.
Additionally, provide Quality inspection support to the Sikorsky FAA Repair Station and the North Haven Facility as required.
Overtime and frequent domestic & international travel is a requirement.
