Full-time: Admissions Assistant

Responsibilities of an Admissions Assistant:

  • Provides assistance to the Admission Director in maximizing facility’s census through interaction with referral sources.
  • Handle inquiry calls from hospitals, families, etc., and provide appointments that include a presentation, tour and closing.
  • Maintain updated bed availability and facility services information.
  • Create facility materials such as press releases, brochures, and advertisements.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Admissions Director.


Qualifications of an Admissions Assistant:

  • Previous experience as an Admissions Assistant is preferred, but not required
  • Previous experience within a Long Term Care setting is preferred, but not required
