Working knowledge of electronic medical records including scheduling and registration
EPIC experience preferred
Working knowledge of payor billing requirements, on-line billing system, and HCPSCS, CPT-4 and ICD-10 codes for Rehabilitation Services.
Working knowledge of Physical therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Prosthetics and Orthotics treatment and terminology.
Reading skills to understand documents such as intake forms, therapist or patient written instructions, and hospital guidelines. Working knowledge of computerized scheduling, Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
Ability to effectively communicate with patients and staff from varied cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Ability to safely perform repetitive bending, stooping, squatting, standing or sitting during day.
Sufficient dexterity and strength to perform standard duties.
Ability to walk between areas of Rehab Services.
