Responsibilities

The Digital Art and Design Department at New York Tech in NYC is seeking an adjunct faculty to teach asynchronous and online Design and Art History courses to both graduate and undergraduate-level students. The courses will cover design and art history topics, including graphic design, digital art, game design, and animation.

Qualifications

The qualified candidate must have a Masters Degree in Art History or a related field, and prior exposure to teaching college level courses on this subject.

Experience teaching online courses and working with international students is preferred.

Candidates should have prior experience in remote and/or online teaching using an LMS such as Blackboard or Canvas (preferred) for course delivery. All adjuncts will be expected to participate in orientation to teaching technologies, as needed, before the start of the semester.

Adjunct Faculty offered hourly rate is contingent on applicable rank.
