Your Role: Accounting Manager - Consolidations
This position will be a key contributor to the Elanco Corporate Accounting and Reporting (ECAR) team and will be responsible for various parts of the monthly corporate consolidations process, review and approval of journal entries and account reconciliations, resolution of accounting issues with global affiliates, etc. This role will also work with functions outside ECAR to ensure proper accounting for various transactions and will have external reporting responsibilities. Lastly, this role will be responsible for various special projects.
Your Responsibilities:
Assist global affiliates with resolution of accounting inquiries and issues
Assist in ensuring compliance with Elanco Global Accounting Policies and Practices
Own or assist with improvement projects as assigned by leadership
Assist in the implementation and administration of a new Consolidations system (OneStream)
Crosstrain with teammates to become the competent, primary backup for several key close processes
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
Required Experience: A minimum of 3 years of applicable experience
Certifications: CPA or Chartered Accountant required
Key Skills for Success: Ability to handle ambiguity; Self-starter
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):
Public accounting experience
High competency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
Experience with SAP S4 HANA ERP or OneStream solutions for consolidations/reporting

Travel: Less than 10%
Location: Global Elanco Headquarters - Greenfield, IN - Hybrid Work Environment
