Accounting Manager

We have a client in Atlanta, GA seeking an Accounting Manager to join their growing team. This role will have direct mentorship from leadership as well as opportunities for future advancement. This role will oversee a team and will have the opportunity to focus on standardizing processes and procedures. They would love to see someone with an Audit background!

Responsibilities:

• This role will be responsible for financial statement prep and deal heavily with cash on a daily basis
• This individual must have the ability to drive the team and hold people accountable. They are in need of structure and a mentor that can help them develop professionally and expand their skillset
• They must know how to prioritize tasks, quickly make an impact, and be managed with a direct approach.
• This person will manage, review and help prepare all monthly financial close processes, as well as be responsible for all non-income tax filings
• This person will also help assist with the budget and financial analysis

Requirements:

• Bachelors in Accounting or related field (brick and mortar)
• CPA is a plus
• 2-3 years as a Manager (in Audit or Accounting)
• Must have experience as an Auditor for more than 3 years
• Public accounting experience highly preferred (3+ years)
• Process-oriented-understands the need for process improvements and can identify those
• Ability to multi-task, organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines
