The Accounting Associate will join a growing Accounting team and will report directly to the Accounting Manager and will also have direct exposure to the CFO. The Accounting Associate will independently manage responsibilities to support timely and accurate financial reporting. The Accounting Associate needs to be comfortable in a dynamic, fast paced environment that continues to grow and change.

Key Responsibilities

·      Handle Accounts Payable for multiple entities and vendors, including tracking all payments and due dates, ensuring payment approvals are received, processing payments in a timely manner and recording payments in our accounting system.

·      Prepares and posts journal entries to record and/or make accruals and adjustments as needed, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP

·      Reconciles and analyzes balance sheet accounts to ensure proper recording of cash, receivables, collateral, payables, current costs, revenues, accruals, obligations, and intercompany accounts.

·      Manages key internal controls in support of the Company’s financial reporting process.

·      Interface with auditors.

·      Prepares various governmental reporting forms, such as sales tax filings.

·      Assists in the timely close of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial books and records.

·      Assists in preparation of consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for external reporting.

·      Assist with preparing Expense Reports

·      Help with ad hoc requests for financial information and reports.

·      Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

·      BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

·      2-5 Years of related experience

·      CPA Preferred

·      Familiarity with Netsuite a plus

·      Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·      Excelling organizational skills and attention to detail

·      Advanced Excel Skills

·      Proficient with Microsoft Office

Comp Range: $70,000 - $80,000 depending on experience
