Job Title: Account Executive (Hybrid)
Department: Sales
Reports To: VP of Sales; Supervised by Sales Manager
Compensation:
· Salary – $55 -$75 depending on experience level + commission. Salary negotiable based on experience.
· Benefits – Monthly clothing allowance, full health benefits, 401K + matching

Black Halo’s architectural designs summon a natural inner beauty and confidence that are both liberating and empowering. The brand has grown to include occasion product such as cocktail dress and evening gowns, as well jumpsuits, two-piece dressing and separates.
Position Summary: Contemporary Women’s brand seeking a dynamic Account Executive to work in New York showroom. This role will support with the Specialty territory for Northeast, Midwest, West Coast. The ideal candidate will be an individual who enjoys being out and about in field – attending tradeshows and being on the road. Must be an excellent communicator, organized, energetic and the ability to multi-task.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Account Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with designated accounts
- Develop and implement growth plan for accounts
- Communicate brand knowledge, story and vision to all customers
- Ability to manage weekly, quarterly and annual sales volume and goals by account; territory
- Partners with Customer Service to ensure open orders are shipped in a timely manner
Sales
- Responsible for all prospecting and new business in assigned territories
- Identify areas for growth for brand across assigned territories
- Drive sales through tradeshows, road, store visits, trunks shows & creative interim selling techniques
Business Analysis and Planning:
- Analyze selling on a weekly basis identify opportunities to drive business
- Review selling by style to identify key items, volume drivers and misses
Showroom Maintenance
· Support VP of Sales on all showroom tasks and market prep, sample management & organization, maintain and set up showroom for sales appointments
Requirements:
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following requirements:
· 2-3 years of wholesale and/or retail apparel sales experience preferred.
· Specialty store relationships a plus
· Bachelor’s Degree is required
· Excellent MS Office Skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
· Experience with NuOrder and Joor
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong organizational skills and excellent ability to multi-task
· Able and willing to travel to trade shows and be on the road to visit accounts
· A love for the fashion industry is a must!
